The NCAA® Regional Open Practice Day

Wednesday, March 25, 2009, 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.

NCAA® Division I Men’s Basketball Championship

East Regional ~ TD Banknorth Garden

The Road to the Final Four® is an exciting one, and there’s no better way to experience it than by jumping right into the center of NCAA® March Madness®! The NCAA® welcomes the public to Open Practice Day from 11 a.m.— 4 p.m. to see the four NCAA® Men’s Basketball

Regional participant teams up close as they prepare for their games on March 26. The winners advance to the Regional final game on March 28. All games are sold out but this is a great opportunity to see the teams in action free of charge.

  • Open access seating to the TD Banknorth Garden public areas for families, groups, and fans
  • Open Concession and Merchandise stands
  • Up close look of a practice session for four of the top sixteen remaining teams in the NCAA® Men’s Basketball Tournament

PRACTICE SCHEDULE

  • 12:00 p.m. — 12:50 p.m.  Game #1 Lower Seed
  • 1:00 p.m.   — 1:50 p.m.    Game #2 Lower Seed
  • 2:10 p.m.   — 3:00 p.m.    Game #1 Higher Seed
  • 3:10 p.m.   — 4:00 p.m.    Game #2 Higher Seed

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
Fans are strongly encouraged to use public transportation.  Bus parking is not available at the TD Banknorth Garden.  For subway maps and commuter rail fares and schedules, visit the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority website.

Green & Orange Lines:
Take either line to the North Station stop. Enter the TD Banknorth Garden at either the East or West entrance.

Red Line:
Take the Red Line to the Park Street stop and switch to Green Line Eastbound (3 stops) to the North Station stop. Enter the TD Banknorth Garden at either the East or West entrance.

Blue Line:
Take the Blue Line to the Government Center stop and then switch to the Green Line Eastbound (2 stops) to the North Station stop. Enter the TD Banknorth Garden at either the East or West entrance.

In the summer of 2006, The TD Banknorth Garden went through an extreme make-over.
